Job Overview:The Career Counsellor will guide students in making informed academic and career decisions. The role involves counselling, conducting assessments, organising career-related activities, maintaining records, and guiding students toward suitable opportunities based on their interests and strengths.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to students regarding career choices, academic goals, and skill development.Conduct aptitude tests, psychometric assessments, and interpret results to guide students effectively.Assist students in preparing resumes, portfolios, and interview skills.Organise seminars, workshops, and career awareness programs.Maintain and update student counselling records and progress reports.Collaborate with academic departments and placement teams for student development.Stay updated with industry trends, job roles, and educational pathways.Guide students about higher education options, entrance exams, and career roadmaps.Provide continuous support to help students overcome personal or academic challenges affecting their career decisions.Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all counselling practices.Qualifications & Skills:Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, HR, or related field (preferred).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Good knowledge of career options, academic programs, and job market trends.Ability to handle diverse student queries with patience and empathy.Experience in counselling or student guidance
