Care Counselor

Job Title: Care Counsellor -  Full time Position Location : Goa, Bangalore, Kannur   Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Counsellor to provide support, guidance, and resources to elderly clients and their families. Care Counsellors are the heart of Samarth. Each Care Counsellor has a very high degree of empathy, understanding and a commitment to help senior citizens. What do we expect our Care Counsellors to do: Key Responsibilities: Regular visit to elders for ensuring well-being. Assistance for activities as required – arranging support, services setup, health checks and appointments, documentation etc. Co-ordination with central team for local support  Accompany them on visits such as hospital, bank, shopping Help with usage of technology and mobile Engagement around interests of seniors Maintain confidential and accurate records of client interactions, assessments, and care plans in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare reports on client progress and program outcomes as required.   Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or above Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years experience in elderly care, counselling, social work, or a related field. Experience working with senior populations and understanding their unique needs is preferred. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Compassionate and patient demeanor. Knowledge of community resources and services for the elderly.   Desired Qualities: - A compassionate and empathetic nature, treating the elderly with the same care and attention you would give to your own parents. - Good organizational skills to manage appointments, errands, and activities. - Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to assist when needed. - Patience and excellent interpersonal skills to create a comfortable, trusting environment for the couple.
