Lead Advanced Interventional Cardiac Care in Upper Assam

With the increasing prevalence of coronary artery disease, diabetes, hypertension, and acute cardiac emergencies in the region, this role offers an excellent opportunity to provide timely, high-quality interventional cardiac care and to play a key role in developing comprehensive cardiology services in Upper Assam.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including coronary angiography and angioplasty (PCI)
• Perform primary angioplasty for acute myocardial infarction (STEMI)
• Perform cardiac device procedures including temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation (single and dual chamber)
• Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions such as ACS, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and cardiomyopathies
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedural care and follow-up
• Lead cardiac emergency management in the Emergency Department and ICU
• Develop and implement cardiac care protocols and SOPs
• Guide and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and Cath Lab technical staff
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and NABH-related activities

Eligibility Criteria

• DM / DNB in Cardiology recognized by NMC
• Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in interventional cardiology
• Proven expertise in coronary interventions and pacemaker implantation
• Strong clinical judgment with a patient-centric and ethical approach
• Willingness to relocate to Dibrugarh, Assam
