As a Food & Beverage Captain, you play a crucial role in the hospitality industry, overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of food and beverage service. Your primary responsibilities include supervising, training, and motivating the waitstaff to provide excellent customer service. You will assign tasks, conduct staff meetings, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely food orders. Monitoring table turnover, optimizing seating arrangements, and maintaining high service standards are key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise, train, and motivate waitstaff for excellent customer service - Assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow - Conduct staff meetings to communicate updates and policies - Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food preparation - Monitor table turnover and optimize seating arrangements - Welcome guests, assist with seating, and fulfill guest needs - Manage inventory, place orders, and monitor stock levels - Provide ongoing training on service standards and menu knowledge - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control measures - Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food safety standards Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry - Strong leadership and communication skills - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items and wine pairings - Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts - High school diploma or equivalent required, additional education in hospitality is a plus - Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per operational needs Please note that the role may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the operational requirements of the establishment.,
