As a Supervising Associate in the Resource Management Team at EY, you will play a crucial role in optimizing resource utilization and supporting resource planning initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather project requirements, assess resource needs, and develop comprehensive resource plans. - Analyzing resource availability, skill sets, and capacity to ensure appropriate allocation of resources. - Developing and implementing resource management strategies, including forecasting future resource requirements and proposing mitigation plans. - Monitoring and tracking resource allocations, utilization, and availability using resource management tools and systems. - Coordinating with project managers and team leads to ensure timely and accurate project staffing. - Identifying and resolving resource allocation conflicts or gaps in collaboration with stakeholders. - Mentoring and guiding Level 1 and Senior Associate team members in resource allocation activities. - Driving continuous improvement efforts by identifying process enhancements and implementing best practices. - Preparing and presenting reports and dashboards to provide insights on resource utilization to stakeholders and senior management. - Staying updated on industry trends and sharing knowledge with the team. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications in resource management or project management are a plus. - Extensive experience in resource management or related roles within a complex organizational setting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Proficiency in resource management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Excel. - Strong organizational and time management abilities. - Leadership qualities and experience in a supervisory role.
