Canva Design & Video Intern

Role & responsibilities

1. Video Creation & Editing

• Create, edit, and produce training videos, explainer clips using Canva.
• Add voiceovers, subtitles, animations, and transitions to enhance video quality.
• Ensure video content aligns with project requirements, social media formats, and brand standards.

2. Graphic Design & Branding Support (Using Canva & Canva Pro)

• Design social media creatives, marketing materials, presentation slides, and other digital assets.
• Work with predefined brand kits and ensure visual consistency across all deliverables (digital or print).
• Adapt content for different aspect ratios (e.g., Instagram posts, LinkedIn banners, YouTube thumbnails).

3. Creative Collaboration & Idea Contribution

• Participate in brainstorming sessions with the marketing and design teams.
• Contribute fresh creative ideas for internal campaigns, training programs, and branding projects.
• Incorporate feedback and iterate designs based on stakeholder inputs.

4. Quality, Trends & Timely Delivery

• Stay updated with social media design and video trends.
• Ensure all deliverables are visually appealing, on-brand, and delivered within deadlines.
• Maintain high attention to detail, especially in layout, typography, and video sequencing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Canva Expertise: Proven ability to create videos (including voiceovers) and graphics using Canva.
• Photoshop & Illustrator (Basic Competency): Ability to handle basic edits, layouts, and file exports.
• Attention to Detail: You take ownership of deliverables and ensure accuracy.
• Time Management: Capable of juggling multiple tasks in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Motion graphics or video editing (Canva and Canva Pro).
• Exposure to or knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
• Understanding of basic branding and marketing principles
