Key responsibilities :

• Customer consultation:

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, discuss design options, and finalize details for cakes.

• Design and creation:

Sketch or design unique cake layouts based on customer specifications and event themes.

• Decorating:

Apply frosting, fondant, and other edible decorations using techniques such as piping, airbrushing, and molding.

• Preparation:

Bake cakes according to recipe specifications, or prepare cake bases if they are not baked from scratch.

• Production:

Assemble multi-layer or tiered cakes and add finishing touches like messages, fruits, or flowers.

• Quality assurance:

Ensure all cakes meet high-quality, aesthetic standards, and adhere to food safety regulations.

• Administrative tasks:

Some roles may also include managing inventory of supplies, cleaning equipment, and potentially handling customer inquiries and sales.

• Business management (for self-employed):
