Cafeteria Manager

Job Summary

• Oversee daily cafeteria operations including food service, kitchen coordination, and service areas
• Ensure smooth functioning during peak hours, events, and special occasions
• Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation, and service standards

Staff Management

• Supervise, train, and schedule cafeteria staff (stewards, cooks, cleaners)
• Ensure discipline, grooming standards, attendance, and shift management
• Conduct regular briefings and on-the-job training

Hygiene & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Maintain cleanliness of cafeteria, kitchen, storage, and equipment
• Comply with FSSAI, safety, and internal audit requirements

Inventory & Cost Control

• Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and wastage control
• Coordinate with stores and vendors for timely procurement
• Control food cost, manpower cost, and minimize operational losses

Member/Guest Relations

• Handle member and guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service consistency

Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain daily sales, wastage, and attendance reports
• Coordinate with Accounts, HR, Stores, and Maintenance departments
• Support management in budgeting, planning, and process improvements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred
• Minimum 815 years of experience in cafeteria/banquet/F&B operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
• Knowledge of cost control, hygiene standards, and cafeteria operations
