CAD/CAM Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled NX CAD/CAM Operator who can create accurate designs and generate efficient CNC programs using Siemens NX. The role involves close coordination with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure precision manufacturing and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using Siemens NX (Unigraphics)
• Prepare CAM programs for CNC machines (Milling / Turning / VMC / HMC)
• Generate tool paths, select tools, and optimize machining cycles
• Modify designs and programs as per production or client requirements
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Coordinate with machine operators for program prove-out and trials
• Ensure accuracy, surface finish, and dimensional compliance
• Maintain proper documentation for drawings and CNC programs
• Support continuous improvement in machining efficiency and cost reduction

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of Siemens NX CAD & CAM modules
• Good understanding of CNC machining processes
• Knowledge of cutting tools, materials, feeds & speeds
• Ability to read technical drawings and tolerances
• Basic understanding of manufacturing standards and quality checks
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
