CAD Engineer

We are looking for a skilled CAD Engineer to handle technical drafting, scaled 3D modeling, and architectural & engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will be strong in AutoCAD, capable in SolidWorks and Fusion, and able to produce accurate, well-organized drawings for production and project use.

Job Title: CAD Engineer

Department: Design

Job Location: Redhills, Chennai

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD for architectural and engineering purposes

· Create scaled 3D models for visualization and technical reference

· Develop detailed drawings for:

· Floor plans, sections, and elevations

· Mechanical layout and fabrication drawings

· Assembly and part drawings

· Modify and update drawings based on design changes and feedback

· Coordinate with design, production, and engineering teams

· Maintain proper layer management, scaling, templates, and file organization

· Convert hand sketches, PDFs, or concepts into accurate CAD drawings

· Ensure drawings meet project standards and technical accuracy

· Assist in preparing print-ready and presentation drawings when required

Required Skills

· AutoCAD – Advanced / Expert level (Mandatory)

· SolidWorks – Working knowledge

· Fusion – Basic to Intermediate knowledge

· CorelDraw – Basic knowledge

Understanding of:

· Scale and dimensioning

· Engineering drawing standards

· Architectural layouts

· Manufacturing/fabrication drawings

· Good attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under minimal supervision

Qualification: Any degree with CAD specialization (CAD certification compulsory).

Experience - Minimum 2 years in AutoCAD 2D & 3D

Package - 20k - 25k. (subject to change depending on the availability)
