Position Overview
We are seeking a talented CAD Automation Sr Engg. / Lead to join our dynamic team as anindividual contributor. In this role, you will work closely with the CAD project team, DataScience and Generative AI teams, clients, and other stakeholders to develop and integrateseamless automation solutions that enhance design processes and improve projectoutcomes.Key Responsibilities• Collaboration:• Engage with CAD project teams to understand workflow requirements andidentify opportunities for automation.• Work alongside Data Science and Generative AI teams to leverage data-driven insights and AI capabilities in automation development.• Interface with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensureautomation solutions meet their needs.

• Automation Development:
• Design and implement automation scripts and tools using software such asDynamo, Grasshopper, and Python to streamline CAD processes.• Integrate automation solutions into existing workflows, ensuring compatibilityand enhancing overall efficiency.

• Testing and Validation:
• Develop and execute test plans to validate automation tools and scripts,ensuring high performance and reliability.• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders to gather insightsand refine automation solutions.

• Documentation and Training:
• Create comprehensive documentation for automation processes and tools tofacilitate knowledge sharing.• Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the useof automation solutions.

Technology Stack
• CAD Software: AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Inventor• Automation Tools: Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, C#

• Data Analysis Tools: Excel, R, Python libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
• Version Control: Git, SVN• Project Management Tools: Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project

Requirements
Required Qualifications• Bachelors degree in architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.• 8 -10 years of experience in CAD automation and integration, focusing on Autodeskproducts and SolidWorks.• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C#.• Strong experience with automation tools like Dynamo and Grasshopper.• Familiarity with data analysis and AI concepts relevant to automation.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in the AEC industry, particularly with CAD workflows and experience withCAD environment.• Knowledge of AI-driven design tools and methodologies.• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Personal Attributes• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality automation solutions.• Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and addressing challenges.
