Buying Manager (Sports Gear & Accessories)

Role Overview: As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and development of category-based sourcing strategies to meet current and future sourcing needs. You will serve as the process owner and advocate for strategic sourcing and consumption management within your category spend area. Your role will involve selecting reliable suppliers who can deliver products on spec at high quality levels and targeted costs. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally to document requirements, conduct negotiations for renewal or new agreements, and identify savings opportunities. Managing supplier relationships, developing risk mitigation strategies, and performing market analyses to find potential new suppliers will also be key aspects of your role.
