Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Buyback Manager with a strong understanding of telecom products like mobile phones, laptops, desktops, and iPads. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the buyback process, identifying and evaluating devices, managing repairs, working with vendors, and maximizing profits. A great communicator and team leader, you will ensure smooth operations and deliver excellent results for the company. Role & responsibilities Inspect and identify devices i.e (mobile phones, laptops, desktops, iPads). • Check the condition of devices, identify issues, and determine whether they can be resold or need repairs. • Diagnose problems and send it for repairing as needed to ensure they are ready for resale. • Stay up-to-date with the latest repair techniques and technology trends. • Keep up with current market prices for devices and adjust buyback offers accordingly. • Set competitive buyback prices that attract customers while maintaining profitability. • Work with vendors to sell devices and ensure the best price. • Negotiate pricing with vendors and manage the liquidation of devices. • Lead and train a team to efficiently handle the buyback process, device evaluation, and repair tasks. • Ensure the team understands best practices and delivers high-quality results. • Track performance metrics such as device volume, profit margins, and repair outcomes. • Report progress and results to management. • Communicate with customers about the buyback process, offering competitive pricing and answering any questions. • Identify opportunities to repair and refurbish devices to increase profitability before selling to vendors. Preferred candidate profile Understanding of mobile phones, laptops, desktops, and iPads. • Proven experience in repairing and diagnosing cell phones and laptops. • Strong analytical skills for pricing and value assessment. • Ability to negotiate with vendors and manage relationships. • Experience in training and managing a team. • Excellent communication and team training abilities. • Ability to identify market trends and optimize trade-in values. • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and fix issues.
