Business Specialist

As a Specialist in Business Finance, your role will involve partnering with Segments, Business operations, and Sales operations to drive the financial objectives of the BU or Channel. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing financial models to drive key financial metrics. - Developing the annual operating plan, preparing forecasts, and tracking actuals against the plan. - Driving margin improvement initiatives and participating in deal reviews. - Identifying inefficiencies and working on correcting them. - Analyzing results, providing commentary, analysis, and presentations to the leadership. - Working on ad-hoc projects to provide a financial view for any investment. - Collaborating with the controllership team to provide critical inputs for month-end accounting, supporting month-close journal entries, and provisions. To excel in this role, you should be: - Versatile in spreadsheets and presentations. - Comfortable with a Matrixed organization. - Possess analytical skills with a keen eye for details. - Able to create spreadsheet models. - Capable of automating repetitive tasks. - Comfortable with fast-paced growth and ambiguity. - Self-driven with a high ownership attitude.
