Business Operations Analyst

Expertise Level and Skills:

• The ideal candidate should have experience in the industry, preferably with a product company, and possess excellent Excel skills. A finance background is preferred but not mandatory.
  

The roles and responsibilities

• The role focuses on an integrated engine supporting engineering requirements limited to hardware, software, and services to enable both hardware and software.
• The candidate should have knowledge of the technological supply chain, including how hardware and software work, and how they are accounted for in financial books.
• Responsibilities include understanding focus models, budgeting, adjusting forecasts quarterly or half-yearly, reconciling books of accounts, and analyzing variances to propose solutions for underspend or overspend.
• The role requires expertise in managing Excel, including building tables, applying filters, and comparing data across different systems.
• A finance background is preferred, but candidates with engineering experience who have worked in finance are also considered suitable.
• These responsibilities aim to support LinkedIn's technology procurement and asset management effectively.
