Role Summary:

As a BI Analyst, Saks OFF Fifth, you will build reports, dashboards, and perform ad-hoc analysis to support data-driven decisions. You'll collaborate with business teams to ensure accurate, accessible, and optimized reporting.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

• 1 - 3 years of experience in BI, within retail or consumer-focused industries.

• Expert-level SQL (mandatory): must be highly proficient in writing, optimizing, and performance-tuning complex queries across large datasets.

• ETL / DBT knowledge: experience building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, models, and transformations for reporting.

• Proficiency in BI tools such as Looker (preferred) or Tableau.

• Strong working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.

• Ability to gather requirements from North America business partners and translate them into technical solutions and clear, actionable reporting.

• Strong understanding of Retail, Supply Chain, Planning, Merch Operations, Marketing, or Loyalty programs, with the ability to contextualize data in business terms.

• Proven experience in ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance in BI environments.

• Track record of automating recurring reports and reducing manual overhead.

• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proactive mindset in identifying opportunities for AI-driven automation and innovative use of data for business impact.

• Strong skills in BI visualization and reporting, with the ability to design clear, impactful dashboards and charts that drive business understanding.

Role Description:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders in North America to understand requirements, define KPIs, and deliver reporting solutions that enable smarter, faster decision-making.

• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions that are visually engaging and business-friendly.

• Ensure accuracy and performance of reporting through rigorous testing, SQL optimization, and data validation.

• Build, optimize, and document DBT models and ETL processes to support scalable BI infrastructure.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and alignment across business domains.

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations that directly influence Marketing, Loyalty, and Customer Experience strategies.

• Explore and propose opportunities to integrate AI and automation into BI processes, enhancing efficiency and insight generation.

• Foster collaboration across global teams while maintaining strong communication with partners and leadership.
