Business Intelligence Analyst

You are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to be a part of the Business Analytics team. Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with various departments to define key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate performance, and deploy predictive analytics. Your role will include developing a strong comprehension of the business, understanding the role of each department, and identifying the metrics that impact performance. You will work closely with departmental heads and analysts to establish KPIs and reports for assessing company-wide performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating reports and dashboards using Enterprise reporting software. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will conduct ad-hoc analyses to address business inquiries and discover data-driven insights to enhance business operations. It will also be your duty to uphold a corporate repository of metric definitions to ensure clarity and consistency. Moreover, you will be monitoring data quality and collaborating with data owners to address any issues that may arise. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar position such as business analyst, data analyst, reporting analyst, or quantitative analyst. Proficiency in reporting tools like Tableau, a sound understanding of databases, and SQL skills are essential. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required. Strong communication skills, both in listening and conveying ideas clearly, are crucial. Your approach to problem-solving should be analytical, diligent, and thorough. A genuine curiosity about data and a passion for extracting insights from datasets are desired qualities.
