Business Finance Manager

Role & responsibilities

Position Summary:

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

- Conduct variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecasts and recommend corrective actions.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).

Costing & Manufacturing Finance

- Implement and monitor standard costing systems for the manufacturing units.

- Analyze product costs, raw material costs, labor costs, and overheads to ensure cost optimization.

- Support the manufacturing leadership in identifying cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

Accounting & Compliance

- Ensure accurate and timely accounting of all financial transactions.

- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

- Monitor and manage working capital, including inventory, receivables, and payables.

- Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure liquidity for smooth operations.

- Manage banking relationships and oversee fund utilization.

Taxation & Regulatory Affairs

- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.

- Liaise with consultants, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.

Team Management & Stakeholder Coordination

- Lead and mentor the finance team across corporate office and manufacturing facilities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Production, Sales) to align financial strategies.
