Business Development & Marketing Representative

Role Overview: As a Business Development & Marketing Representative at Broekman Logistics, you will play a crucial role in combining the mindset of a start-up with the professional approach of a multinational organization. You will be based in Mumbai and work alongside 50 colleagues in Freight Forwarding. As a key member of a small and agile Pan-Indian team within the Contract Logistics division, you will report directly to the Vice President. Your main responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: - Engage in proactive market research, build relationships with potential customers, and create compelling presentations. - Maintain opportunities in CRM, engage with incoming leads, and prepare for industry events with the Vice President. - Collaborate with the National Head of Contract Logistics team to translate customer requests into tailored proposals covering operational and financial aspects. - Involve in all stages of the business development process, from market research and lead identification to planning meetings and generating inquiries. Qualifications Required: - 2 to 4 years of working experience or proven track record of independently executed internships for entry-level candidates. - Completed bachelor or master's degree. - Logistics-related or marketing & sales education for entry-level candidates, or relevant work experience and a desire to advance in your career. - Strong skills in building remote relationships through phone, Teams, or email. - Fluent English skills at a professional level. - Proficiency in the Office suite and a keen eye for detail in presentation making.
