Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager in the civil engineering industry, your role involves implementing the recommendations of the strategic business development plan and conducting market research specific to civil engineering projects and sectors. You will also evaluate operational challenges, monitor new market segments, develop and manage the business development budget, and manage corporate programs. Additionally, you will ensure effective control of business development results, direct sales forecasting activities, and support the company's mission and values. Key Responsibilities: - Implement recommendations from the strategic business development plan - Conduct market research and analysis specific to civil engineering projects - Evaluate operational challenges and ensure competitiveness with industry trends - Identify new market segments for civil engineering services - Develop and manage the business development budget - Manage specific corporate programs related to civil engineering projects - Ensure effective control of business development results - Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals - Support and promote the company's mission, vision, and ethical standards - Assist in planning events highlighting civil engineering capabilities - Represent the company through public speaking engagements - Manage the RFP process and workflow for civil engineering projects Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Development Manager in the civil engineering industry - Experience in preparing and reviewing RFQ proposals - Strong relationships within the local market - Proven track record in identifying and securing civil engineering project opportunities - Familiarity with Construction Management at Risk (CM at Risk) delivery method - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong team player with a professional demeanor The company offers full-time and permanent job types with performance and yearly bonuses.
