Job Description

Role Summary

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for IT contract staffing and augmentation services.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and program leads across commercial and government sectors.
Manage the full sales lifecycle including lead generation, prospecting, negotiations, and contract closure.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure timely delivery of quality candidates aligned with client needs.
Analyze client IT environments and workforce requirements to propose tailored staffing solutions.
Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and key performance metrics such as revenue growth, client acquisition, and placement counts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8 - 10 years of proven experience in IT staffing sales, with a focus on contract or staff augmentation.
Strong network and existing client relationships within IT, engineering, or related domains.
In-depth understanding of IT staffing sales cycles and contract models (C2C, W2, 1099).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills.
Goal-oriented with a strong drive to exceed targets and expand client base.
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Established relationships within the staffing industry.
Knowledge of MSP/VMS environments.
