Business Development Manager - SME LAP

As a Business Clients Acquisition Executive at Standard Chartered, your role involves achieving personal sales targets and focusing on acquiring new High-Value Segment (HVS) customer relationships. Your main responsibility is to fulfill customer needs related to Assets, Liabilities, Insurance, and Investments as mandated by the Bank. Additionally, you will deepen these relationships by cross-selling various products. Key Responsibilities: - Achieve personal sales targets by implementing segment-focused, customer-centric needs-based selling strategies - Acquire new HVS customer relationships and fulfill their financial needs - Cross-sell various products to deepen customer relationships - Coordinate customer events for the cluster in collaboration with the product team - Develop aggressive sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers through referrals Qualifications Required: - Good interpersonal skills - Customer and service orientation - Banking knowledge - Management information skills - Competitive awareness and benchmarking abilities - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills - Quick grasp of new concepts - Enthusiasm for meeting new customers - Risk management skills including conducting Customer Due Diligence (CDD), MLP & TCF diligently - Zero tolerance for fraud and mis-selling - Compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements, including money laundering prevention procedures About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
