About the Initiative:

“I am Samarth” is a flagship educational initiative of Samarth Trust, focused on empowering youth and students across India through digital learning, skill development, and career readiness. The initiative offers an innovative ‘mobile app platform’ that delivers accessible, affordable, and engaging education to students from diverse backgrounds, especially in underserved and semi-urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Drive sales and user acquisition in the assigned state capital and surrounding regions.
  • Identify and onboard educational institutions, coaching centers, NGOs, local government bodies, and student communities.
  • Execute state-level campaigns and outreach programs to promote the *I am Samarth* app.
  • Maintain a monthly sales and target achievement plan.

2. Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, local leaders, and education influencers.
  • Liaise with district/state education authorities and CSR bodies for partnerships.
  • Collaborate with local influencers and educators to expand app awareness.

3. Field Activation & Promotion

  • Organize seminars, demo sessions, and career fairs in schools and colleges.
  • Conduct door-to-door outreach and community events to promote downloads and registrations.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for localized campaigns (print, digital, OOH, etc.)

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on progress, leads, and conversions.
  • Analyze regional market trends and suggest data-driven strategies to improve adoption.
  • Maintain CRM entries and ensure up-to-date lead tracking.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related fields (MBA preferred).
  • 3–6 years of field sales/business development experience, preferably in edtech, NGOs, or grassroots campaigns.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural setting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and local/regional language.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Passionate about education and social impact.
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work independently in a state-level role.
  • Strong networking skills and familiarity with the local education ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite and basic CRM tools.
