Business Development Manager

.This role offers a dynamic opportunity for a skilled professional to drive sales growth across multiple online marketplaces by identifying and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will blend technical knowledge of web and mobile app development with strong commercial acumen to engage clients, understand their needs, and close deals independently. Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies across marketplaces such as Upwork, Guru, and Fiverr
- Identify, bid on, and secure new business opportunities by responding effectively to RFPs and client requests
- Coordinate client meetings to gather detailed requirements and propose tailored digital solutions
- Collaborate with technical managers to obtain accurate effort estimates for project proposals
- Negotiate contract terms and close deals with minimal supervision
- Support continuous improvement of sales and pre-sales materials in collaboration with the team
Requirements
- Solid understanding of the web and mobile application development ecosystem
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stay current with emerging technology trends
- Capability to work effectively under deadlines
- Experience in gathering client requirements and documenting them clearly
- Proven track record of closing deals through online marketplaces
- Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours, including on-call availability
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field with at least 60% marks
