Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and managing the end-to-end sales process. From prospecting to deal closure, the BDM will play a critical role in growing the business and ensuring the successful delivery of services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, be adept at managing client relationships, and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Strategy:
Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities across various industries.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target potential clients and meet revenue goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.Identify areas for cross-selling and upselling to increase revenue streams.
End-to-End Sales Process Management:
Manage the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pricing structures to potential clients.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services post-sale.
Market Research & Client Engagement:
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive intelligence, and opportunities
within various sectors.Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build brand awareness and generate leads.Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Performance Metrics & Reporting:
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Provide regular updates on sales progress, business development activities, and client feedback.Analyze performance data to refine business development strategies and achieve optimal results.
Key Requirements:
5+ Years of experience in business development or sales within the IT services, software development, or technology consulting industries.
Strong ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to manage complex sales processes and navigate long sales cycles.Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized.Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
