Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities:

Typical job responsibilities include but not restricted to:

Generate

• Meet and engage with current MedGenome clients (Doctors, Hospitals and Labs / Collection Centers / Research institutes) in the applicable territory to retain and increase business from them.
• Meet and engage with other potential clients to add them into MedGenome network. Set up commercial arrangement with them in most profitable manner to MedGenome.
• Follow defined sales processes and conduct business accordingly.
• Implement marketing activities identified for the territory to help in brand building and generating additional revenue.
• Meet key prescribers for organizing CME/ RTM / Conference.

Manage the financial aspects associated with clients:

• Timely management of financial areas including Invoicing, Payment Collection, Referral Service Charge Payment and Outstanding Collection of all applicable clients as per MedGenome guidelines.
• Regular follow up with clients to ensure outstanding is cleared on time.

Coordinate with servicing team and client, if required, to ensure sample pickup and delivery:

• Coordinate with local servicing team and client, if required, to ensure samples are picked and reports delivered in time as per the agreed procedure.
• Work with logistics team to create arrangements for sample pick-up and delivery from any new client added into the system before handing over to local servicing team for day-to-day servicing.

Preferred candidate profile:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Masters in Science/M pharma/Microbiology
• Excellent academic track record and technical acumen
• Must have experience in Healthcare industry/ Medical Device/Diagnostic Domain
• Willing to travel
