JOB DESCRIPTION for the position of Business Development Manager Company is into non-ferrous engineering metal product manufacturing company based out of Pune, Maharashtra, India. Job Purpose: To develop new foundry industry accounts and to maximize sales and gross profits for assigned accounts in India using GQ FORGE resources in a sustainable, profitable way that is consistent with company's Vision and Objectives. Job Scope: Works to develop new business at foundry customers in Western and Southern India as required to meet or exceed regional and corporate budget goals. Position has sales and gross margin accountability, including all related sales forecasting, budgeting, new product/service introductions, inventory management, (including raw materials) stocking agreements, customer satisfaction and; customer intelligence collection and activity documentation for assigned accounts in company's Contact Management System specifically targeted to the foundry business in India. Considerable travel, all the year, including occasional international travel requiring a passport. Reporting: Position reports to CEO directly. Competencies : Individuals who are successful in this position typically possess the following competencies: an entrepreneurial outlook, Indian specially Hindi & English communication skills, communicator/relationship builder, well organized, self-motivated, curious with a technical aptitude, resourceful problem solver, negotiator, competitive, decision maker, has an ownership mentality, integrity and is a mature team player. In addition, success in the position requires skills and experience in the following areas: college level education or equivalent experience in the following related area(s) - manufacturing, business, marketing, business to business sales experience along with PC computer skills in Microsoft Office- software, web browser and Windows PC operating systems. Need to be a quick learner who can understand the capabilities of company and identify market segment and narrow down companies to target to acquire business by making business cases and literature which reflects synergies with customer. Key Result Area's : (Specific Personal Goals And Objectives Established Annually) Business : Position is responsible to identify and capture new business opportunities with assigned foundry industry. Also the position ire responsible for identifying the kind of products company can manufacture based on the need of the customers in various industries, this would require a some amount of investigation and analysis. Need not have a Foundry background experience. Position is responsible to maintain and protect an existing base of business/margin dollars. A baseline number is established annually using sales to assigned accounts. Additional objectives may set in areas of order specifications, inventory management (including raw materials) stocking agreements, price and margin maintenance, and invoicing/credit administration. A minimum of one written case study per year is required to document how customer performance has been improved. We are in need of Marketing/Sales - Manager for central and western part of India worked for 8 to 10 years in the Foundry (Desirable but not mandatory). Exposure to metallurgy and metal product manufacture and industry knowledge is required. His or Her age should be around 27 to 38 Years, and will need to be travelling extensively round the year for the Sales and Marketing of company. Qualifications : - BE Mech/Metallurgy/Chemical needed or Science graduate with relevant knowledge. Compensation : We are quite flexible on salary front and should not be a concern for suitable candidate and can be Negotiated based on experience, fitment to role and experience profile.
