Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Client Acquisition & Empanelment:

    Identify, target, and onboard new clients across key domestic sectors. Secure formal empanelments with large/medium enterprises, government bodies (if applicable), and corporates.
  • Revenue Growth:

    Own and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
  • End-to-End Business Handling:

    Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, lead generation, and RFI/RFP response to negotiations, contracting, and initial project handover.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and potential client needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships at C-level and senior management levels. Act as the key point of contact for strategic clients.
  • Pipeline Management:

    Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to the leadership.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to craft compelling proposals and ensure client requirements are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in

    Domestic (India) Business Development

    within the

    IT/Software Services

    industry.
  • Track Record:

    Demonstrable history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, with concrete examples of major accounts closed or empanelments secured.
  • Communication Skills:

    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present, persuade, and negotiate effectively.
  • Business Acumen:

    Strong understanding of business dynamics, contract negotiation, and financial terms.
  • Networking:

    An established network of contacts in the domestic IT decision-maker community is a significant advantage.
  • Attributes:

    Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong "hunter" mentality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
