Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing travel business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring corporate clients and direct travel clients across India. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and ensuring sustained revenue growth from B2B and B2C channels in the travel segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and acquire new corporate clients for domestic and international travel services (business travel, incentive travel, group bookings, etc.).
  • Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with the companys revenue objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored travel proposals, presentations, and corporate travel packages to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Visa, Marketing) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to clients.
  • Maintain regular contact with key decision-makers in target companies across industries.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows, industry networking events, and exhibitions to build client network.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for both corporate and direct clients.
  • Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and client feedback to the management team.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Travel & Tourism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of proven experience in business development in the travel and tourism industry with a focus on corporate clients.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate travel management.
  • Excellent command on English language, especially rules of syntax, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Readiness for minimum 3 years of commitment.
  • Strong network and relationships with corporate clients across India.
  • Knowledge of corporate travel trends, travel management tools, and customer expectations.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Target-driven and self-motivated professional.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and lead conversions.
  • Exposure to handling MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and digital lead-generation strategies.
  • Knowledge of travel CRM and corporate booking platforms.
