Job Summary:

Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Sales:

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in EPR, E-Waste, and Battery Waste Management.
    • Generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals with key stakeholders such as manufacturers, recyclers, and compliance agencies.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  2. EPR Compliance & Regulations:

    • Stay updated with government regulations, EPR guidelines, and compliance requirements.
    • Assist clients in meeting their EPR obligations, including documentation, reporting, and liaising with authorities.
  3. Strategic Partnerships & Market Expansion:

    • Develop partnerships with waste processing facilities, recyclers, and technology providers.
    • Identify potential markets and expansion strategies for E-Waste and Battery Waste Management services.
  4. Client Consultation & Sustainability Advisory:

    • Provide consultation to clients regarding sustainable waste management practices.
    • Advise on cost-effective and compliant waste disposal and recycling solutions.
  5. Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

    • Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
    • Recommend innovative solutions to enhance service offerings and competitive positioning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in

    Environmental Science, Business Administration, Waste Management, or a related field

    .
  • Proven experience

    in business development, sales, or consultancy in

    EPR, E-Waste, and Battery Waste Management

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    EPR regulations, government policies, and compliance frameworks

    .
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, drive revenue targets, and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in

    MS Office, CRM software, and market research tools

    .
