As an Intern at our funded series startup in the education sector, you will have the opportunity to be actively involved in various aspects of sales and business development. Your responsibilities will include: Nurturing leads: You will be responsible for following up on inquiries and maintaining communication with potential leads through multiple channels such as phone calls and emails. Qualifying leads: You will need to qualify leads based on specific criteria and gather essential information to gain an understanding of their needs and buying intent. Closing deals: Working closely with the field sales team, you will assist in the closing process by engaging in negotiations and overcoming objections to successfully secure deals. Product/Service knowledge: It will be crucial for you to acquire a comprehensive understanding of our products and services to effectively convey their value propositions to potential customers. Setting appointments: You will play a key role in scheduling meetings and appointments for the field sales team based on qualified leads to ensure efficient utilization of resources. CRM Management: Keeping accurate records of lead interactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system will be part of your responsibilities to maintain organized and updated information. Collaboration: You will coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to align lead generation efforts and strategies for improved efficiency and effectiveness. Exceeding targets: You will be expected to meet and surpass individual and team-based sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive overall success. Engagement with leads: Initiating outbound calls to potential customers from company-generated leads will be essential in establishing connections and fostering relationships.
