Role Description

As a Business Development Intern at Longerons Outsourcing Pvt. Ltd., you will play a key role in connecting with potential clients, scheduling product demonstrations, and supporting the sales team in converting opportunities into successful business deals. This role offers practical exposure to corporate communication, pitching, demo handling, and the sales closure process in a performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cold calls to potential clients to introduce company services
  • Present value propositions clearly and generate interest
  • Book and schedule product demos for the business development team
  • Occasionally conduct demos independently, following company scripts and guidelines
  • Engage with prospects to understand basic requirements and business challenges
  • Support the sales team in follow-ups and closure activities
  • Maintain accurate calling logs, demo schedules, and CRM updates
  • Share daily/weekly performance reports including calls made, demos booked, demos conducted, and outcomes

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong and confident verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver professional pitches and handle objections
  • Good listening skills and customer engagement abilities
  • Basic understanding of sales communication and corporate interaction
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work toward targets
  • Proficiency in MS Office; CRM knowledge is a plus (training will be provided)

Location: Chennai

Shift Timings: 10 AM to 7 PM

Salary: Fixed (1.2 LPA to 2 LPA)+Variable (3 LPA)
