Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and goal-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team. The BDE will be responsible for driving admissions, promoting our courses (NDA, NEET, IIT-JEE, Foundation), and expanding our reach across schools, coaching networks, and parent communities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the education sector, especially related to defence and competitive exam preparation. Key Responsibilities: Promote the institute’s courses for students from Classes, including NDA, NEET, IIT-JEE, and Foundation programs. Identify and generate leads through school visits, seminars, exhibitions, online channels, and partnerships. Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and educational consultants. Conduct counselling sessions to guide students and parents on course offerings, career paths, and admission procedures. Organize and represent the institute at promotional events like education fairs, workshops, and webinars. Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/enrolment targets. Collaborate with marketing teams to execute local campaigns (offline and online). Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM tools. Provide feedback to the academic and marketing teams for product improvement and market needs. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing is a plus). 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or counselling in the education or ed-tech sector. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students and parents. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Willingness to travel locally for meetings, seminars, and school visits. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with coaching institutes or education consultancies (NDA, NEET, IIT-JEE domain). Knowledge of the defence exam structure (NDA), CBSE curriculum, and competitive exam landscape in India. Familiarity with CRM software and lead management systems.
