Role Summary

As a Business Development Executive (Upwork Specialist), you will play a key role in expanding OMR Digital’s client base via freelance marketplaces — especially platforms like Upwork. You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing potential clients, managing proposals and client relationships, and working alongside internal delivery teams to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Search for and identify potential clients/projects on Upwork (and similar platforms) that align with OMR Digital’s services.
  • Prepare and submit proposals and bids tailored to client needs.
  • Engage with clients — respond to messages, answer queries, clarify scope, negotiate terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, delivery) to assess feasibility, set expectations, and coordinate service delivery.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with clients — aim for repeat business, upsells, and long-term partnerships.
  • Track and manage pipelines, leads, and proposals; report status to management.
  • Stay updated on market demand, competition, and digital-marketing trends to improve pitch quality and service offerings.
  • Meet predefined targets: number of proposals, conversion rate, revenue goals, client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, SMM, web/app development) — enough to match client needs to services.
  • Experience (or familiarity) with Upwork or similar freelance marketplaces — preferably in bidding, proposals, client communications, project acquisition.
  • Persuasive proposal writing and negotiation skills.
  • Basic project management and coordination ability.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,560.59 - ₹32,002.71 per month
