Job Description

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in

    steel bridge fabrication

    ,

    hydro-mechanical gates

    ,

    penstocks

    ,

    trash racks

    ,

    structural steel

    , and related heavy fabrication markets.
  • Research industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to create targeted market-entry strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with EPC contractors, government agencies, consultants, and project developers.

Technical & Engineering Support

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop

    technical proposals

    ,

    fabrication methodologies

    , and

    cost estimates

    .
  • Understand engineering drawings, specifications, and fabrication standards to present accurate solutions to clients.
  • Support clients with technical clarifications related to bridge steelwork, hydro-mechanical fabrication, welding standards, materials, and QA/QC processes.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, and tender evaluations.

Proposal & Tender Management

  • Coordinate the preparation of bids, RFQs, and RFP responses for bridge and hydro-mechanical fabrication projects.
  • Work closely with cost estimators, planners, and engineers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Review contract terms, scope definitions, and technical requirements to minimize risk exposure.
  • Deliver professional presentations and bid clarifications to clients.

Client Relationship Management

Strategic Planning & Growth

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with fabrication shops, engineering teams, quality assurance, logistics, and project management departments to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Support marketing efforts such as company brochures, case studies, product catalogs, and trade show participation.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5–15 years of experience
  • Proven track record in business development, tendering, or technical sales.
