Job Description

Location: Meridian School, Madhapur

Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM, 6 days a week

Employment Type: Full-time

Scope: Responsibilities cover all Meridian Group of Schools locations

Main Objective: Drive admissions growth through targeted marketing campaigns and strategic business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Develop and execute strategies to increase student admissions across all school locations, with a primary focus on lead generation and conversion.

  • • Plan, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns (both online and offline) to enhance brand visibility and attract prospective families.

  • • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the education sector to drive growth.

  • • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, educational consultants, and community organisations.

  • • Conduct market research to analyse trends, competitor activities, and parent expectations to inform business strategies.

  • • Collaborate with school leadership and marketing teams to align on enrolment targets, promotional activities, and events.

  • • Prepare and present regular reports on admissions pipeline, campaign performance, and revenue forecasts.

  • • Represent the school at education fairs, open houses, and community events to promote the institution and generate leads.

  • • Ensure consistent communication across all school locations to maintain unified messaging and branding.

Critical Skills & Qualifications:

1. Strategic Planning and Market Research

* Ability to develop and execute strategies for business growth, including identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, and targeting academic institutions for partnerships and enrolment drives.

2. Sales and Negotiation Skills

* Proficiency in lead generation, pitching educational products/services, negotiating deals, and closing sales to meet revenue targets.

3. Communication and Presentation

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

* Advanced presentation skills to effectively promote the schools offerings and persuade potential clients or partners.

4. Relationship Management

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including academic institutions, parents, and educational partners.

5. Collaboration and Teamwork

* Ability to work closely with marketing, admissions, and academic teams to implement business strategies and promotional campaigns.

6. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

* Competence in analysing market trends, sales data, and client feedback to refine strategies and address challenges.

7. Proficiency with Business Tools

* Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business productivity tools for reporting and client management.

8. Leadership and Initiative

* Capacity to lead initiatives, mentor new team members, and take ownership of business development goals.

9. Customer Service Orientation

* Strong focus on client satisfaction, with the ability to gather and act on feedback to improve services and relationships.

10. Adaptability and Resilience

* Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapt to changes, and remain persistent in pursuing business goals.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field.

* Prior experience in sales or business development, preferably in the education sector, is highly valued.

Note: This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a passion for education and the ability to work across multiple school locations.
