About the Organization

A leading B2B pharmaceutical organization specializing in womens health and high-quality finished dosage forms. The company supplies to 60+ global markets including the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Operations include advanced R&D and manufacturing facilities, supported by cross-functional teams across India and international locations.

Role Overview

Seeking a Business Development professional to support growth through new opportunities, licensing projects, sales enablement, and cross-functional coordination. The role involves working closely with leadership, internal teams, and external partners to support commercial and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Licensing

  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and licensing prospects.
  • Support evaluation, negotiation, and execution of deals.
  • Prepare financial models, business cases, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with legal teams to draft and finalize agreements.
  • Track licensing income, renewals, and compliance.
  • Provide insights and forecasts for leadership decision-making.

Sales Enablement & Analysis

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
  • Assist in identifying new customers and sales channels.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for sales performance and pipeline tracking.
  • Support the creation of client proposals and commercial presentations.

Project Management

  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with R&D, Supply Chain, QA, RA, Finance, and Manufacturing.
  • Identify risks, escalate issues, and propose timely solutions.
  • Maintain MIS trackers, dashboards, and documentation.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Ensure clear and structured communication internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and vendors for seamless execution.
  • Prepare updates and presentations for leadership.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MBA with 3+ years of experience in business development, project management, or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools.
  • Experience in business cases, financial modelling, and commercial presentations.
  • Understanding of licensing agreements and revenue models.
  • Experience in sales support, pipeline management, and customer segmentation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred (not mandatory).
