Business Development Executive

You will be responsible for qualifying incoming leads and prospects, as well as creating new business opportunities. Additionally, you will create outbound sales opportunities by following an ideal customer profile through prospecting and cold calling. It will be your duty to qualify opportunities and pass them over to the Sales Team. You must ensure that all opportunities and activities are properly documented in the CRM system. Furthermore, you will support marketing activities for the designated territory by conducting market research to identify target companies in chosen markets. Updating web content to enhance how the company positions its solutions and to improve the sales cycle will also fall under your responsibilities. You will be involved in developing marketing collateral and newsletters. To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field. A strong understanding of the software industry, the software engineering development cycle, and the software tools business is essential, including customer dynamics and the reasons why customers purchase software tools. Demonstrated ability to cold-call into accounts and develop new leads/opportunities is required. You should possess selling skills and have a consistent track record of identifying new business opportunities. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Web design experience would be considered a plus. The ideal candidate should be smart, driven, assertive, and possess a can-do attitude. You must have proven ability to work in a team selling environment. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technology sales environment is necessary. This position is based in Bangalore.,
