Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive (BDE) at Asahi, your impact will be crucial in representing the company's beverage portfolio in northern Tasmania. You will play a key role in driving brand presence and sales for on-premise customers, including iconic brands like Great Northern, Carlton Dry, Balter, and Hard Rated, as well as non-alcoholic offerings such as Schweppes, Pepsi, and Allpress Coffee. Your responsibilities will include building lasting relationships with pubs, bars, and clubs, negotiating agreements, optimizing product range, executing marketing activities, resolving customer issues, and driving category growth. Success in this role hinges on your positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and ability to cultivate strong working relationships while striving to exceed sales targets in the region. You will be equipped with essential tools such as a vehicle, phone, and laptop to support your efforts. The ideal candidate for this position is tenacious, ambitious, and curious, with a background in sales, preferably within FMCG or liquor industries. You should possess exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, strong commercial acumen, excellent organizational abilities, a positive attitude, and resilience. Additionally, you must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, think innovatively to surpass customer expectations, and hold a valid driver's license.
