Role Overview
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a critical role in driving student enrollment by reaching out to prospective parents and students, setting up demo sessions, and supporting the sales team in closing enrollments. This is a high-energy, target-driven role best suited for individuals who are confident communicators, persuasive, and eager to grow in a fast-paced edtech environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesReach out to prospective parents and students via calls, emails, and WhatsApp to introduce Oratrics programs.Qualify leads, understand student/parent requirements, and position the right program.Schedule and ensure attendance for demo sessions with our teaching team.Follow up with prospects post-demo and share feedback with Sales Closers.Maintain lead data and activity records in the CRM.Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly lead conversion and demo booking targets.Provide feedback to the marketing and sales teams for improving lead quality and customer experience.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Calls per day: 200+ (mix of cold & warm leads)Demo bookings per day: 6 minimumDemo attendance rate: = 80%Data accuracy in CRM: 100% complianceTarget compliance: Weekly and monthly quota achievement
What Were Looking ForBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).02 years of experience in sales, telesales, or business development (EdTech background is a plus).Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).Strong persuasion and objection-handling ability.Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven.Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
