Business Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-orientedand analytical Business Data Analyst with 5-6 years of experience. The idealcandidate will have strong skills in data analysis, business processunderstanding, and the ability to translate complex data into actionableinsights. Experience in working cross-functionally with business stakeholdersand IT teams is essential to drive data-driven strategies and processimprovements.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboratewith business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document businessrequirements and data needs.

Analyzecomplex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that supportstrategic business decisions.

Model andmap current and future business processes to identify inefficiencies andrecommend improvements.

Translatebusiness needs into technical specifications and work closely with IT/datateams to implement solutions.

Conduct workshops,meetings, and presentations to align stakeholders and obtain buy-in on projectgoals and deliverables.

Supporttesting and validation of new systems and processes to ensure they meetbusiness requirements.

Documentbusiness processes, requirements, and solution designs for reference andcompliance.

Monitorongoing business performance and suggest optimization strategies.

Serve as aliaison between business units and technical teams to ensure seamlesscommunication and project success.

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in science, Engineering and related disciplines.

Work Experience

5-6 yearsof experience in business data analysis, business analysis, or related roles.

StrongKnowledge of banking or financial services domain.

Proficiencyin SQL for data querying and analysis.

Experiencewith BI tools is a plus.

Solidunderstanding of business processes and ability to model and documentworkflows. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experienceworking with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

Familiaritywith data visualization best practices and reporting standards.

Preferredto have experience with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (Azure,AWS, or GCP).
