Business and Operations Executive

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for various marketing and supervisory duties to ensure the success of Thangam Catering services. Your main responsibilities will include promoting our catering services to potential clients such as weddings, events, and corporates. You will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, following up on leads, and building strong client relationships to generate repeat business. Additionally, you will assist in creating marketing materials, handling social media updates, and coordinating with event organizers and vendors for brand visibility. In terms of supervisory duties, you will oversee on-site catering operations during events to ensure smooth execution. This involves coordinating between the kitchen, service staff, and logistics teams, monitoring service quality, food presentation, and customer satisfaction, as well as handling any last-minute issues professionally. Your role will also involve ensuring timely setup, service, and closing of catering operations. We welcome freshers with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn, although prior experience in marketing, hospitality, or event supervision is considered a plus. Strong communication and people-handling skills are essential for this role, as well as a willingness to travel locally for event supervision and client meetings. Basic knowledge of catering/event workflow is an advantage. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development.
