Role Overview: As a Business Analytics Analyst at Citigroup, you will apply your specialty area knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data. Your role will involve identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, making recommendations, researching and interpreting factual information, and defining business issues. You will integrate established disciplinary knowledge within your specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices. Your impact will be limited but direct on the business through the quality of tasks/services provided, mainly within your own team. Key Responsibilities: - Gather operational data from various cross-functional stakeholders to examine past business performance - Identify data patterns and trends, providing insights to enhance business decision-making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment, etc. - Recommend actions for future developments and strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies - Be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis, and/or qualitative analysis - Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate findings clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders - Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities - Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking, and improving decision strategies - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency Qualifications: - 2-4 years of relevant experience - Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to work with cross-functional partners and team members Education: - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience Additional Company Details: This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
