As a Business Analytics Analyst at Citi, you will be a part of the Operations Analytics team that focuses on using data analysis to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. Your role involves gathering operational data, identifying data patterns and trends, providing insights for business decision-making, and recommending actions for future developments. You will also be involved in exploratory data analysis, translating data into consumer insights, and collaborating with internal and external partners to build and implement decision strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Gather operational data from various cross-functional stakeholders for examining past business performance - Identify data patterns and trends to enhance business decision-making capabilities - Recommend actions for future developments and strategic business opportunities - Translate data into consumer insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies - Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring new data sources and tools - Work closely with business partners to build, implement, track, and improve decision strategies - Assess risk when making business decisions to safeguard Citigroup's reputation and assets Qualifications Required: - Expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, process mapping, and process re-engineering - Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Tableau and QlikView - Experience with automation tools like SAS and PySpark, and programming languages like Python and SQL - Strong understanding of business operations, financial metrics, and ability to communicate data insights effectively - Ability to analyze customer feedback, identify pain points, and develop solutions to improve customer experience - Knowledge of financial services operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices As a successful candidate, you will ideally have a Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience and 4-7 years of experience (4 years for Bachelor's or 2-5 years for Masters).
