Business Analyst(Salesforce)

Role Type - FTE

Role Mode - WFO (5 days)

Location - Chennai

Experience - 3 to 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their processes and translate

these into detailed business, functional, and technical requirements.

• Conduct workshops and interviews to gather user stories and define acceptance

criteria.

• Salesforce Solution Design:

• Translate business needs into functional solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem

(Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).

• Work closely with technical teams to define solution architecture and ensure alignment

with business requirements.

• Process Improvement & Optimization:

• Analyze existing business processes and recommend solutions to improve efficiency

and effectiveness using Salesforce functionality.

• Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful implementation and

user adoption of Salesforce features.

• Payments Follow-Up Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure Salesforce is integrated with financial

processes for payment tracking and invoicing.

• Work closely with customers to ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments and

ensure Salesforce supports the payment reminder process.

• Track payment statuses within Salesforce and provide finance teams with regular

updates to improve cash flow management.

• Documentation & Reporting:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, business

processes, workflows, and training materials.

• Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to help monitor

business KPIs.

• Stakeholder Management:

• Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, finance teams, and support

teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

• Provide regular project updates and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the

project lifecycle.

• System Configuration & Testing:

• Configure Salesforce to meet business requirements (fields, objects, workflows,

validation rules, etc.).

• Coordinate and conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist with quality

assurance efforts to ensure system integrity and performance.

• Project Management:

• Work with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects, manage project

timelines, and address any potential risks or issues.

• Provide post-implementation support to ensure system stability and continuous

improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Salesforce Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing

Cloud, or other Salesforce products).

• Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization (fields, objects, workflows,

page layouts, validation rules).

• Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning interface and AppExchange solutions.

• Business Analysis:

• Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

• Expertise in creating process flow diagrams, use cases, and other analysis tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.

• Finance Collaboration:

• Experience working with finance teams to track payments, invoicing, and manage cash

flow processes.

• Ability to build Salesforce processes that integrate with financial workflows and

reporting systems.

• Project Management:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

simultaneously.

• Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to present complex concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner to stakeholders at

all levels.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Basic knowledge of Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components)

is a plus.

• Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques (e.g., Data Loader).

• Certifications:

• Salesforce Certified Administrator (required).

• Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst

(preferred).

• Additional Salesforce certifications such as Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud

Consultant are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in industries like finance, healthcare, or retail with Salesforce

implementations.

• Knowledge of integration between Salesforce and third-party applications.

• Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Field Service, or Pardot is a plus
