Job Description

Business Analyst with Legal Background

Experience: 6 to 12 Years

Location: Chennai/Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore/Ahmedabad/Coimbatore/Dehradun

Notice: Immediate to 15 days

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with legal workflows, contract management systems, eDiscovery, and compliance platforms, coupled with strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with legal, compliance, and IT stakeholders to translate legal business needs into functional and technical requirements.
Work across platforms such as CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management), eDiscovery, Legal Hold, Matter Management, and Compliance tools.
Conduct business process mapping and identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and efficiency improvement within legal operations.
Collaborate with development and solution teams to design, validate, and implement legal tech solutions aligned to business goals.
Support requirements gathering, user stories, backlog prioritization, and UAT for legal technology initiatives.
Prepare process documentation, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, ensuring alignment between business needs, technical design, and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related discipline; additional certification in Business Analysis or Legal Technology preferred.
Strong understanding of legal workflows such as contract review, matter management, litigation support, and compliance tracking.
