Job Title: Senior Business Analyst NBFC / Banking

Business & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational challenges.
  
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
  
• Lead requirement walkthroughs, solution discussions, and sign-offs with cross-functional teams.
  

Process Improvement & Optimization

• Analyze end-to-end NBFC/Banking processes across

  Loan Origination (LOS), Loan Management System (LMS), Credit, Collections, and Disbursements

  .
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risk areas; propose automation and process-reengineering solutions.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance turnaround time (TAT), customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  

Digital Transformation & Systems

• Lead business analysis for system implementations, upgrades, and integrations involving LOS, LMS, Core Banking Systems (CBS), CRM, and third-party fintech platforms.
  
• Work closely with IT, vendors, and product teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of business solutions.
  
• Support UAT planning, test case validation, defect triage, and user sign-off.
  

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze business and operational data to derive actionable insights on portfolio performance, credit quality, delinquency trends, and profitability.
  
• Define MIS dashboards, KPIs, and management reports for leadership reviews.
  
• Support data governance and reporting accuracy aligned with regulatory and audit requirements.
  

Risk, Compliance & Governance

• Ensure solutions are compliant with RBI guidelines, internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  
• Support internal audits, statutory audits, and regulatory inspections through documentation and data validation.
  
• Identify operational and system risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  

Project & Change Management

• Support project managers in planning, execution, and delivery of business change initiatives.
  
• Lead change impact analysis, training support, and adoption strategy for new systems/processes.
  
• Mentor junior business analysts and review deliverables for quality and completeness.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

Functional Knowledge

• Strong domain expertise in

  NBFC / Banking operations

• Deep understanding of

  Retail/SME Lending, Credit Underwriting, Collections, and Recovery

• Experience with

  LOS, LMS, CBS, CRM

  , and fintech integrations

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Business analysis techniques:

  BRD, FRD, Use Cases, User Stories, Process Mapping

• Data analysis skills using

  Excel, SQL, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)

  (preferred)
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and digital lending workflows
  

Soft Skills

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in

  Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field

• MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
  
• Certifications such as

  CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, Scrum

  are an added advantage

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of experience

  as a Business Analyst in

  NBFC / Banking / Financial Services

• Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects
  
• Experience working with

  regulatory-driven and large-scale systems
