Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst/ Scrum Master with strong experience in U.S. healthcare and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, lead Agile ceremonies, and ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with organizational goals. Experience with digital pathology workflows is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with pathology and laboratory teams to gather requirements, manage product backlogs, and prioritize user stories.
● Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on requirements and implementation.
● Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
● Drive project execution with Agile best practices: track progress, identify risks, resolve blockers, and communicate updates to leadership.
● Support change management, training, and user adoption activities as part of project rollouts and go-lives.
Required Qualifications:
● Must be detail-oriented.
● 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Scrum Master in healthcare IT.
● Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, PMP, or equivalent certification.
● Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare workflows, compliance, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CLIA, CAP, etc.).
● Hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) — Epic Beaker, Cerner, Sunquest, Orchard, or equivalent.
● Proven experience in Agile methodology, with ability to lead cross-functional scrum teams and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
● Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in digital pathology workflows and systems.
● Prior involvement in healthcare system integrations, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM).
● Technical familiarity with laboratory or imaging systems.
