Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company\u2019s vision and strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities:
\u25CF Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
\u25CF Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
\u25CF Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
\u25CF Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
\u25CF Filter and \u201cclean\u201d data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
\u25CF Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
\u25CF Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Skills Required:
\u25CF Bachelor\u2019s/Master\u2019s Degree in CS/IT from a premier college
\u25CF Proven working experience of at least 1-2 Years as a Data or Business Analyst
\u25CF Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
\u25CF Strong hands-on experience with SQL and reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
\u25CF Excellent with Number Crunching, worked on large datasets
\u25CF Excellent knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
\u25CF Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
\u25CF Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
\u25CF Excellent written and verbal communication skills
