Job Description

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  • Reviewing Concept Note logged by the user group for development/enhancement requirements.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders (Business, Operations, IT, Development teams) to understand requirement, conduct walkthroughs & discussions, obtain required signoffs at various stages etc.
  • Preparing detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD) and securing sign-off from relevant stakeholders.
  • Gather functional specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborating with the Development team to explain development requirements, address any queries or clarifications, supporting additional requirements etc.
  • Review FSD/USRD documents prepared by the development team & secure sign-off.

2. Testing & UAT

  • Preparing comprehensive test cases & scenarios and executing end-to-end UAT.
  • Conduct end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document results.
  • Ensure defect tracking and closure within timelines.

3. Project Management & Tracking

  • Track project progress against committed timelines (TD).
  • Coordinate with internal development teams for timely delivery.
  • Use project management tools like JIRA/PPM for tracking and reporting.
  • Change Management and other control requirements for scoped applications

4. Application Support

  • Assist users in application usage and resolve issues by liaising with development/support teams.
  • Ensure smooth transition from UAT to production and support in release management.

5. Compliance & Governance

  • Adhere to internal governance, compliance processes and ensure audit readiness.

Key Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of application development and maintenance lifecycles
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation skills (BRD, FSD).
  • Understanding of SDLC and Project Management methodologies (Agile preferred).
  • UAT planning and execution experience. Experience in testing methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with change management processes and ITIL frameworks
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, PPM, SQL for project tracking and other project management tools.
  • Banking domain experience (Retail/Agri preferred).
